CLOCKWISE OR ANTICLOCKWISE?

Here is one of the weirdest things I have seen in a long, long time. All you have to do is watch the video posted below, and figure out whether you see it turning anticlockwise or clockwise. If your really clever you might even see her change direction.

So which way are you? I see her turning mainly clockwise, but I can also see her change directions sometimes. The video doesn't really give you a large description of what it really means about your mind so here's a list which I found:

LEFT BRAIN FUNCTIONS(anti-clockwise turning)

uses logic, detail oriented, facts rule, words and language, present and past, math and science, can comprehend, knowing, acknowledges, order/pattern perception, knows object name, reality based, forms strategies, practical, safe

RIGHT BRAIN FUNCTIONS (clockwise turning)

uses feeling, "big picture" oriented, imagination rules, symbols and images, present and future, philosophy & religion, can "get it" (i.e. meaning), believes, appreciates, spatial perception, knows object function, fantasy based, presents possibilities, impetuous, risk taking,

Tip: If you sort of relax your eyes and look at the top right hand corner it'll probably help you to see her change. I found it really difficult to start with but once you see it the first time it kinda sticks.

Have fun!

LONG TIME, NO POST.

Wow. This is slightly weird. The last time a blogged was at least a few months ago, and i'm so sorry for that!! School caught up with me, and to be honest, I got lazy.

Firstly, have a look at Yoke! (http://www.yokemagazine.blogspot.com/) I haven't actually read it myself yet, due to difficulties getting it, but it looks absolutely amazing.

If your lucky enough to live in Melbourne you can get it from Sticky Institute, but if not Bianca is more then happy to post a copy to you. See the blog for details though.

On the subject of blogs, look at Sea of Shoes. The most amazing blog ever. It does make me feel as if I have no clothes though. This blog can be viewed at www.seaofshoes.com

Until next time! Which should be, hopefully, be very soon.

APOLOGIES FOR THE MESS.

Bon-matin! Today i'm locking myself in my room (not literally) in an attempt to bring my large pile of homework down slightly. So far, it's not going to well. I've become distracted with changing my blogs layout, including the header, colours and template. The result is this: a blog which looks quite messed up. I think i've decided on keeping the sidebar on the left hand side and ditching the previous header but i'm still having problems deciding. What do you think?

Oh, and there is now 31 followers on my blog! I must say, i'm extremely flattered that you all read my blog. Thanks everyone!

One more thing before I go work on my english essay. Isn't this lunch bag awesome (once again from paper n' stitch) !? It's very clever. I think I might buy it, providing I have enough money. I'm sick of carrying around a plastic container.

MY LIFE AS AN ANIMAL.

I love TV, but some of the shows which are aired over here in Britain are honestly the most ridiculous things i've seen. Of course there's great TV shows which I can't live without, but there's also a couple such as 'My life as an animal' which are just plain stupid. My life as an animal (BBC 3) pretty much entails celebrities living as animals. That's it. As if living with them wasn't foul enough, they also make them eat the food that the animals eat, such as pig food, dog food or horse food. Isn't that just a little bit to desperate? I don't understand what could be interesting about that show. All we're watching is celebrities being treated like absolute rubbish. They say that's its just trying to truly understand animals. What do you think about it? If you click here you can watch an add for the TV show.

THE HARDEST (AND MOST ADDICTIVE) GAME ON EARTH.

This game is the most addictive game you will ever see. It's actually called 'The worlds hardest game', how original. I would advise you strongly not to play it due to the hours which you'll probably end up wasting online, but it's really fun! I think it's so addictive because you have unlimited lives, meaning that you can continue playing for as long as you want. The most i've ever got up to is level five, and that was with about 100 deaths or something like that. If you click here you can play it. If you do end up trying it, let me know how you go!

I REALLY WANT THIS COAT. BUT I DON'T NEED IT.

I'm absolutely in love with this coat from Oliver Bonas. The colour is so gorgeous, and the buttons are just perfect. The trouble is though, I don't need it. Winter is well and truly over and summer is on its way (thank goodness!), meaning the weather is warming up. I could use it for next winter/autumn, but I already have enough coats and by then I might be sick of it anyway. Well, not sick of it but the whole wow factor would have probably worn off.

Au revior!

BIOLOGY EXAM.

I have a biology exam tommorrow that counts towards 33% of my overall biology GCSE mark! Eeeeeekkkk. I'm petrified. All of my teachers are wondering around going 'Your going to be carrying this mark around with you for the rest of your life. Future employers will be looking at this. Get that A*!' I mean, it's all very true, but would they mind maybe not making us scared out of our brains at the though of tommorrow? I must run, off to go study genetics.

THE BEST WALLET EVER.

Aren't these wallets from Lou's Upcycles the best? Not only do they look fantastic, but they're recycled to! I think we should all be supporting recycled items. Wallets/purses in particular look fantastic when made out of recycled materials. A friend of mine had a purse from a world vision shop that was made out of magazines. It was gorgeous!

BOUNCING AROUND.

I've signed up for trampolining!! It's about time a started a sport though. I used to play hockey, and I go bike riding alot but i've never really been much of a sports person.

Trampolining does sound quite fun though. I mean, what couldn't be fun about bouncing up and down on a huge trampoline? We did it at school for P.E for a lesson, but apart from that I have no idea on how to do it. I'm abit scared that my class will all be world class olympic athletes or something like that doing flips and jumps 20 feet into the air.

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CUSHION...

I just came across the sweetest cushion i've ever seen on paper n' stitch. Isn't it gorgeous? The colours are so pretty, but they dont overpower the cushion to much. And the bird cage with the love heart in the middle.....I love it so much. If you click here you can view it/buy it. There's also other cushions which are just as nice on there. I love paper n' stitch, it's such a great website.

JUST SOME THINGS I WANT TO DO.

1) Learn French fluently. Not only do I have to pass my GCSE French examinations, I also think it’d be fantastic to know a language (other then English) fluently. Obviously, French would be the language which I’m most familiar with by then so it’d be the easiest to learn fluently.

2) Improve my flexibility. I’m getting there slowly!! A month ago I couldn’t even to touch my ankles, let alone my toes but I’m not far off it now. I’ve never been ,much of a flexible person, but hopefully it’ll start to improve.

3) A friend and I want to travel to the small town of Hell (Yes, it does exist!) dressed in devil suits. I wonder what the residents reactions will be…

4) Smile more! Smiling just improves everyone’s happiness. If you smile at someone, they’ll smile back and then pass it onto another person. It’s a continuous stream.
